Operation: Warm

 

DU and the Community Action Partnership of North Alabama, offer assistance through the Operation Warm and Low-Income Energy Assistance programs.

 

Operation Warm is funded by voluntary donations from customers of DU. Customers can opt add a minimum of $1 or more to their monthly power bill each month. Funds collected are administered by Community Action to customers who are elderly, handicapped or in a health crisis situation. Assistance is available on a one-time basis.

Power to the Schools

For just a dollar or more a month, you can make a powerful difference!

Make a donation each month on your utility bill to provide funding for ongoing technology needs such as equipment and teacher training.

Funds go directly to Decatur City Schools Foundation which gives 100% of Power to the Schools funding to public education in Decatur.
